The Weekly Enlightenment

Not much for commentary this week besides Rush Limbaugh's take on "hope and change". He calls it "hoax and chains".

MUST READ
* Fantastic article about how you will lose your insurance and you will have to pay for abortion.
* The EPA has ruled that greenhouse gases are hazardous to humans, which allows the EPA to regulate them. For one thing, we exhale carbon dioxide...does that make us pollutants as well (and doesn't plant life rely on carbon dioxide)?
* The EPA definitely has it out for carbon. Of course they are trying to save the planet...right?
* A long but great summary of the whole climate fraud. A new development can be found on page 8 about the possible use of a fudge factor which is skewed to alter the data more heavily in the last 40 years.
* One would think the wonders of government-run health care would be showing in Canada and Great Britain. As it turns out though, Britain is among the worst in heart and cancer survival rates. If only our media would actually report it.

From The Archives
* A great speech from Michael Crichton about the intermixing of politics and science.

Global Warming
* All these climate zealots are hypocrites. Think that people like Al Gore will ever have to relinquish their private jets?
* I wish the release of the emails was the true end of global warming. However, liberals have boundless energy and are impervious to facts, so we will likely have to deal with it anyways.
* Unintended consequences. Stoplights freeze over because LED lights don't give off as much heat as incandescent light bulbs. Thankfully, Congress took all factors into account...er wait.

Silly Liberals
* Another liberal eager for debate.

Health Care
* Democrats will stoop to any level to smear health care reform opponents. Senate Majority Leader Reid is comparing opponents to the Democrats of the civil rights era.
